Movius Interactive Corporation is a cloud-based communications company that provides secure communications solutions to businesses. Movius is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with locations in Bangalore, India, and Cupertino, California.
Movius has undergone a number of acquisitions and name changes since its original founding as IP Unity in 1999. It acquired Glenayre Messaging in January 2007, and the name was changed to IP Unity Glenayre. The merger increased the company's customer base to a total of 79 million end users. Just over one year later, in January 2008, IP Unity Glenayre rebranded to Movius Interactive Corporation. This was partly to reflect the company's shift to new product offerings of mobile media and messaging solutions.
In September 2021, Movius acquired Intentico, a company focused on developing AI-based customer experiences.
Movius MultiLine is Movius's secure business communications solution that can be run on smartphones, desktops, and CRM software systems. MultiLine enables businesses to consolidate business communications into a single interface, including phone calls, texts, and WhatsApp messages. Messages are encrypted and can be optionally recorded and saved. Only basic information about calls and messages is available on the device itself. The MultiLine app can be securely added and removed to employee phones, using mobility management software. The app is also beneficial for auditing purposes, as it provides clear transaction records.
Movius has established partnerships with popular communications companies like Sprint, BlackBerry, Telstra, and Telefónica.
