NSGIC hosts two annual informational and networking events for its members in rotating cities: the Midyear Meeting, held in early spring, and the Annual Conference, held in early fall. NSGIC also hosts an annual Elections GeoSummit, a gathering of leaders in elections management and geographic information systems, to craft best practices and enhance election systems. NSCIG honors individuals and organizations who have contributed to geospatial excellence with its annual Geospatial Excellence Awards, Outstanding Service Award, and Lifetime Service Award. NSGIC is funded by membership and sponsor contributions.
