National University of Ireland, Galway

The National University of Ireland, Galway (NUI Galway), also known as Ollscoil Náisiúnta na hÉireann, Gaillimh and Ollscoil na Gaillimhe, is a public educational institute established in 1845. Located in Galway, Republic of Ireland, the university is part of the National University of Ireland's larger parent organization.

NUI Galway operates in the education, higher education, and university industries. It is accredited by the Department of Education and Skills of Ireland and has the motto "Deo Favente". The university is affiliated with the Coimbra Group and the European University Association. As of now, NUI Galway has one assigned patent.
