Nestlé was founded by Henri Nestlé in 1866 as the Anglo-Swiss condensed Milk Company and has since grown to become the world's largest food and beverage company. Nestlé funded a study on the Nestle Research Centre developed T4-like coliphages and a commercial Russian coliphage product by the company Microgen for treatment of acute bacterial diarrhea.
