After being established in 2004, NING was purchased in 2010 by Mode Media. The company underwent major changes in structure and methods of operation before offering a paid subscription plan. In 2011, NING focused on users without coding skills and released the NING Design Studio, which allows for website customization. At the end of the same year, NING was acquired by Glam Media.
