Oliver Kahn, born Oliver Rolf Kahn on June 15, 1969, is a former German football player who played as a goalkeeper. Originating from Karlsruhe, Germany, he is well-known for his pseudonyms Gorilla, Titan, and Volcano.
Kahn pursued his education at the University of Hagen and Seeburg Castle. He is currently the CEO of FC Bayern Munich, his current employer. He resides in Munich and holds German nationality.
Throughout his career, Kahn received numerous awards, including being included in the FIFA 100 list and winning the Lev Yashin Prize as the Best Goalkeeper of the World Cup in 2002. His exceptional performance as a goalkeeper led to him being named Bundesliga Best Goalkeeper seven times, UEFA Best European Goalkeeper three times, and German Footballer of the Year twice.
Oliver Kahn is a father to three children: daughter Katharina-Maria, and sons David and Julian.
