Pave is a technology company developing software for compensation transparency in businesses. It is a San Francisco-based company founded in 2019 and was part of the spring 2020 cohort of the start-up accelerator Y Combinator. The company's solution allows clients to plan, communicate, and benchmark the compensation for the employees in their companies and creates pay transparency throughout the company and industry.
Pave offers a platform as a service (PaaS) that enables companies to access information and data to determine the compensation of any employee. Compensation can be comprised of salary, equity, benefits, and promotions. Each of these components is tracked using different software, and Pave puts all of that information into one place. Appropriate parties can utilize the platform for planning and communicating compensation or running a merit cycle. It can be integrated with existing human resources, applicant tracking systems, and capitalization table software.
The company has three pricing tiers. The free option offers real-time data on salary, equity, and variable. The next tier is the pro option, which enables clients to access more features such as merit cycles. The top tier is the premium tier, a customized version of the platform specifically for the client's company. The pro and premium tiers do not have a publicly stated price point.
