Werbe was born May 21, 1993 in Paris, France. He graduated from Tatnall High School in 2012. He then attended Emory University before dropping out in 2014.
Werbe is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post and Virgin providing insight into the world of entrepreneurship, startups, raising venture capital and team building. Werbe's first startup Stockniche was launched while he was in high school, before successfully being acquired.
He is currently the Founder and CEO of StudyPool, which is backed by Sillicon Valley investors such as Dave McClure's 500 Fund and Fabrice Grinda, as well as Great Oaks Venture Capital and Lerer Hippeau Ventures.
Richard Werbe also Co-founded Verma Media, a blockchain and sports marketing company in San Francisco. He served as head of Global Community for IOST (Internet of Services) Foundations. Richard is an active angel investor between Silicon Valley and Asia. He has made several notable angel investments including IOST.
