The industrial engineer graduate started his career in his main field in 1988, but in the early 90s moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior manager and chief consultant. He also co-founded a strategy consulting firm.
Zagotta previously led the CME Group's products & services teams since joining in 2012.
Zagotta was an executive vice president of Project Leadership Associates from 2007 2012. He was the CEO of Fourth Floor Consulting from 1998 to 2007. From 1994 to 1997, he was a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
He is the former senior managing director, strategy & execution at the CME Group. He left the company in February 2017.
