Sarah Guo is a venture capitalist. As of 2022 she is employed by Greylock, where she began working in 2013 as an investor. She has been a general partner there since 2018.
Guo attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. Following that she attended The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she completed undergraduate and graduate studies and earned four degrees total: a bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, master of arts, and master of business administration. While in graduate school from 2010 to 2012, Guo was a head teaching assistant for The Wharton School. She led a team of ten other graduate teaching assistants.
Guo's career has mainly been as an investor and board member for many companies. She has been a board observer for Avi Networks, Skyhigh Networks, and Awake Security. She has served as a board director for Palo Alto Networks and Sqreen. As of 2022, Guo serves as an investor at Figma, Snorkel AI, Neeva, and Dazz; a board observer at Coda; and a board director at Obsidian Security, Cleo, Utmost, Shortcut, Remotion, Postscript, and Common Room.
