Sesame Ventures

Founded in 2016, Sesame Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Sesame Workshop. Sesame Ventures works with established venture capital firms to invest in early stage companies in education, health and social welfare sectors. In their investments, Sesame Ventures looks for companies aligned with their mission to make kids smarter, stronger and kinder.

Sesame Ventures raised their first fund, Collab+Sesame where they partner with Collaborative Fund, which makes early stage investments in education.

Sesame Venture participates in Reach Capital's venture fund, which seeks to support entrepreneurs developing educational products.

Sesame Ventures has made investments in Step, Kano and Yup Technologies.
