Sprig (formerly UserLeap) is a product research platform that allows product teams to communicate with customers through video interviews, concept tests, and microsurveys. The company was founded in 2018 by CEO Ryan Glasgow, formerly of Vurb and Weebly, and is based in San Francisco, CA. The platform has been used by a variety of companies to gather product feedback, including Square, CodeAcademy, Shift, App Annie, Adobe, Loom, Retool, Ironclad, Surfline, Ease, Dropbox, Chipper, ClassPass, Invoice2go, and Opendoor.
Sprig offers companies three means of communicating with their targeted audience to gather product feedback: video interviews, concept tests and microsurveys. Sprig's video interview feature lets product research teams record their interview questions and select a specific audience to target. Customers respond to the questions asynchronously, after which the Sprig platform provides teams with an analyzed transcript of the interview. Concept tests allow teams to embed a Figma prior to a feature's launch, as well as add video, text, rating scale or multiple choice questions to gain feedback. Sprig also allows research teams to employ contextual microsurveys, which can target users based on specific attributes or actions. Microsurveys can be launched via link or email and utilize Sprig's AI for analysis.
