Stewart Alsop II is an American investor, co-founder of Alsop Louie Partners and former editor-in-chief of InfoWorld.
Alsop, child of political analyst and columnist Stewart Alsop, received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Occidental College in 1975. Alsop was also general partner of New Enterprise Assoicates, and editor-in-chief and executive vice-president of Infoworld. He started Alsop Louie Partners, a venture capital firm, alongside Gilman Louie in January 2006. Alsop has previously served on the Board of Directors for organizations including Copilot Labs, Twitch, The Cipher, Sapho Inc., Meow Wolf Inc., Hover Inc., Phase Four Inc., Ursa Major Technologies and Drop Kitchen.
