The company is headquartered in Seattle, with offices in Tucson and Minsk.
Taqtile develops augmented reality technology for industrial applications. The company's Manifest platform and solutions work to capture expert knowledge and aid in structuring, storing, managing, visualizing, and analyzing the re-use and learnings obtained from the knowledge. The augmented reality technology is intended to be device agnostic and scalable, in order to help enterprises train and upskill their workforce. For the enterprises, they are able to use employees and expert technicians to author and annotate their workflow using an augmented reality headset or a tablet. This process is intended to capture this knowledge, to be able to pass it along to employees being onboarded or being upskilled, and to provide a transfer of skills and knowledge. As well, the systems allow users to interact with 2D and 3D information to guide situational awareness, safety, and decisions for increased worker capability, remote assistance, and safety.
Taqtile's platform works to provide users with hands-free learning with the augmented reality offering an overlaid learning with the equipment they are working with. Being device agnostic, the platform is available on HoloLens 1, HoloLens 2, Magic Leap, iPad, Android, and in browser. The platform is ready for 5G for low latency and available to networks for IIoT information and video communication in real time.
