15th (the last) shogun of the tokugawa shogunate
Tokugawa Yoshinobu (born 28 October 1837 in Koishikawa) is a historical figure who held multiple occupations, including politician and photographer. He was educated at Kōdōkan in Mito and held citizenship in Tokugawa shogunate, Empire of Japan, and Japan. Yoshinobu passed away on 22 November 1913 in Bunkyō.
Yoshinobu was the child of Tokugawa Nariaki, and during his lifetime, he was also known by the aliases とくがわ よしのぶ, 一橋慶喜, and 松平昭致.
