Ulf von Euler

Ulf von Euler was born on February 7, 1905 in Stockholm, Sweden. He was a neuroscientist, pharmacist, chemist, and physician. Educated at the Karolinska Institute, von Euler went on to have a distinguished career in the field of science.

Von Euler was awarded the 1970 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, solidifying his legacy as a pioneer in his field. He was the child of Hans von Euler-Chelpin and Astrid Cleve, both of whom had successful careers in the field of science. Ulf von Euler continued his life in Sweden, where he ultimately passed away on March 9, 1983.
