University College Cork (UCC), also known as Coláiste na hOllscoile, Corcaigh, is a public educational institute located in Cork city, Republic of Ireland. Founded in 1845, UCC is a constituent university of the National University of Ireland. The university is accredited by the Department of Education and Skills of Ireland and is affiliated with the European University Association and the Utrecht Network.
