Vacheron Constantin

The history of the Vacheron Constantin brand has more than 260 years, which allows to name the company the oldest in the world clock-time manipulation. The enterprise was founded in 1755 by 24-year-old master Jean-Marc Vasheron from Geneva.

Reliability and elegance of models soon became a visiting card of the young manufacture, which served to increase popularity among the European nobility, including influential representatives of the Royal Palace of France. In 1819, the co-owner of the company was François Konstanten, whose business experience helped to expand business to the world level. The famous phrase of the time that turned out to be the motto of the Swiss watch brand: “Working better, if possible, and it is always possible”.
