Validere is a company that develops artificial intelligence software and hardware solutions that improve oil testing. The company was founded in 2014 by Ian Burgess and Nouman Ahmad, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Providing critical information about a liquid is possible through Validere's technologies through a portable diagnostic device. The technology is used by chemical waste handlers, researchers, and first responders to identify chemical hazards, and proceed with instructions for its disposal. Consumer goods and industrial processes can also be tested by the portable device. The company aims to deliver intelligence about product quality in real-time and to optimize logistics and trading.
Validere's software, Validere 360, is considered an internet of things (IoT) platform, and validates all quality data on the platform. The platform is powered by artificial intelligence, to give users resource allocation and calibration. Validere 360 works with Validere's Centrifuge Tube Reader as well as the company's Vapour Pressure Field Test Kit.
The company is based out of Toronto's MaRS Discovery District.
