Van Halen

Van Halen is a Los Angeles-based heavy metal and hard rock[^1] band founded on January 1, 1972[^2]. The band was established by Alex Van Halen[^3], Eddie Van Halen[^4], David Lee Roth[^5], and Wolfgang Van Halen[^6], with the band name being derived from the Van Halen brothers' names, Alex and Eddie[^7][^8]. Van Halen has competed with various bands throughout their career, including Green Day[^9], Rage Against the Machine[^10], INXS[^11], and The Smashing Pumpkins[^12], among many others.

The band has produced various songs in their career, such as "Can't Get This Stuff No More"[^13], "Without You"[^14], "She's the Woman"[^15], "Humans Being"[^16], "Can't Stop Lovin' You"[^17], "Hot for Teacher"[^18], "Dance the Night Away"[^19], and "Runnin' with the Devil"[^20]. They have received multiple awards, including Grammy Awards[^21] and MTV Video Music Awards[^22].
