Verse

Established in 2015, and based in Barcelona, Spain, Verse is a payments technology platform. The mobile app allows users to share payments and allows them choose whether they want their transactions to be private or public while keeping track of their financial activities. The platform is available for both Android and iOS-based phones.

• Users download the Verse app to send and request money: They can register with Verse using their mobile phone number and link the app with their credit cards.

• Users can then send and request money: Users can enter an amount and tap send or request. They select a contact or enter the mobile phone number of the recipient then add a note explaining the payment or request before confirming the transaction.

• Users can also transfer money: Transfers can be done from a user's Verse balance to their bank account. If their bank accepts instants transfers, they perform that as well.

Users have the option to pay with their iPhone or Apple Watch. With Apple Pay, the VerseCard is protected with FaceID or TouchID. This setup does not require a physical card. Users can pay directly with their iPhones. Users can add their VerseCard to Apple Pay by opening a Wallet and tapping the + sign. Users can also add their Apple Watches by opening the Apple Watch app on their iPhones, selecting Wallet & Apple Pay before tapping Add Credit or Debit Card. For MacBook Pro users with Touch ID, they can add their card by going to system preferences, selecting Wallet & Apple Pay before adding their Card.
