The artist organically looks in projects with a historical context and those that affect modern realities.
Childhood and youth
Werberg was born on June 10, 1963 in Moscow. The girl's parents were far from the sphere of art. Father Arnold Yakovlevich served as a pilot in his youth, and after the collapse of the Union he became a businessman. Mother Galina Georgievna held a position at an enterprise that produces military equipment for space. But their daughter, in her youth, became interested in theater and wanted to become an actress.
After graduating from school, the girl tried to enter theatrical universities. For two years in a row, the applicant was unlucky, and on the third, luck unexpectedly smiled at her: Victoria managed to pass exams at several educational institutions at once. She was even invited to his course at the Moscow Art Theater School by Oleg Efremov himself. However, the young Muscovite chose to study at GITIS.
Personal life
The performer does not make a secret of her personal life, talking about her in an interview. It is known that Maxim Vitorgan became Verberg's chosen one. Despite the fact that the young man was 9 years younger than the actress, this age difference did not bother the spouses living in a civil marriage. The couple met in the early 90s, when Victoria and Maxim worked together at the Moscow Youth Theater.
At that time, the woman started repairs in the apartment and needed a man who performed construction work. Vitorgan Jr. offered his help, so communication began. And soon the actors began to live together. The lady was passionately in love with "a tall, handsome man with green eyes," as she herself described her husband. When it became known that the artist was expecting a child, Werberg was sure that the boy would be the first.
The performer even chose the name Philip for her first child. When a girl was born in July 1996, Victoria remembered how the little son of her friends, even before the pregnancy of the actress, asked to give birth to a bride named Polina. So the name for the daughter was chosen. In September 2000, an addition happened in the family - the actors became Daniel's parents.
Over time, passion left the relationship of the spouses, they decided to leave. After the divorce, Maxim and Victoria remained on good terms, tried to ensure that the children were not traumatized by the events taking place. Vitorgan Jr. had a new family, and his first wife chose to remain free.
Theater and films
In 1986, after graduating from GITIS, the performer received an invitation from her teacher Anatoly Efros to play at the Taganka Theater. The girl gladly accepted the offer, but the director died before Verberg had time to draw up documents for work in the troupe. According to the Muscovite, the departure of the master was a big blow for her. It seemed that life had lost its meaning, and an acting career would have to be put an end to.
Soon the artist was offered to cooperate with the Moscow Youth Theater. At first, the idea of playing in a children's theater did not seem tempting to Vika. However, the wife of her teacher Efros, Natalya Krymova, convinced the girl that work here would be a good basis for a further theatrical career. The actress listened to the advice and did not regret it: her whole life was connected with this place.
