The Village Ukraine is a city online newspaper: everything about cultural and social life, service, entertainment, food and people in Kyiv. Our goal is to produce content that will help improve life in the city.

Editorial principles

No hidden advertising

All commercial content is clearly marked. The work of the sales department and the editorial office is divided. Our advertisers do not receive PR bonuses. When we try to bribe authors, we stop cooperating with the brand for a long time.

Advertising on the site

We strive for advertising on the site to be ethical, fair and effective. We are against bots, dirty traffic and machinations with meters.

Language

The Village Ukraine is published in Ukrainian. Foreign language comments and interviews are translated and adapted for publication on the site. Archival content (published before 2014) is stored on the site in the original language.

Conflict of interest

If the editorial board finds a conflict of interest in the author through business, family or other connections - we indicate information about the conflict of interest or do not publish the material.

Editorial position

Publications on the site reflect the position of authors and heroes. The editors may not share their views. The Village Ukraine does not provide a platform for people who call for enmity on racial or religious grounds. We are against discrimination or humiliation of human dignity.
