On September 10, 2019 WaveOptics completed their oversubscribed series C funding round with $39 million in funding from Goertek, Hostplus, Octopus Ventures, Robert Bosch Venture Capital (RBVC), Gobi Partners, and IP Group. The CEO of WaveOptics, David Hayes, made the following comments to reporters regarding the companies series C funding round:
