Yeva Hyusyan is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of SoloLearn, a platform to learn programming languages. Prior to becoming a mobile and web-based platform to teach coding, SoloLearn was a Microsoft accelerator. Together with her co-founder, Davit Kocharyan, in 2014, they started developing the platform in their country, Armenia, before further expanding its operations to serve worldwide users. As of August 2019, Yeva Hyusyan lives in San Francisco, California, United States. Hyusyan is married with three children, two daughters and a son.
Before developing SoloLearn, Hyusyan has previous work experiences in Microsoft and USAID. She received an MBA from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy, and has an MS in International Economics from Yerevan State University, Armenia as well. She also completed an Executive Program from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
