Jewish-american econometrician
Zvi Griliches (1930-1999) was an economist and statistician born in Kaunas. He was a citizen of the United States and took his higher education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Griliches' occupation was primarily focused on economics and statistics.
Griliches was guided by his doctoral advisor, Theodore Schultz, and eventually became a doctoral student of Eitan Berglas. He passed away in 1999 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
