The testnet version of Celestia, Mamaki, was launched in May 2022. It allows users to operate nodes, receive tokens for the testnet, delegate from validators, and send transactions between wallets. The team behind Celestia has stated that it intends to launch its incentivized testnet followed by its mainnet in 2023. ThereA token is also a token slated to be launched in the same year.
