Clockwise is a San Francisco-based software company which makes "intelligent" calendaring software marketed at enterprise teams. The company was founded in 2016 by Matt Martin, Gary Lerhaupt, and Mike Grinolds.
Clockwise is venture-backed and has received funding from investors including Accel and Greylock Partners. Additional institutional investors include Slack Fund and SV Angel.
The Clockwise product is designed to help its users optimize their personal and professional calendars. The company's software gives its users the ability to set a target for the amount of uninterrupted "focus time" they'd like in a given week and helps them schedule their meetings outside of that protected time.
Clockwise's Autopilot product allows its users to select which scheduled meetings have flexible timing. Autopilot then automatically reschedules meetings with enterprise team members to times that are least disruptive and in line with individual employee needs for "focus time."
