Overview
Donald Hamilton (1916-2006) was an American novelist, writer, and journalist. Born in Uppsala, he held citizenship in the United States. Hamilton was educated at the University of Chicago, where Isidor Isaac Rabi served as his doctoral advisor. He was the child of Bengt Hamilton.
Over the course of his career, Hamilton authored several works, including "The Big Country" and "The Wrecking Crew". He passed away in Visby in November 2006.
