History
1992 - Creation by a group of Russian scientists and engineers of EvrazMetall.
2002 - Acquisition of the Vysokogorsky Mining and Processing Plant.
2004 - Acquisition of the Kachkanar Mining and Processing Plant and Evrazruda.
2006 - Acquisition of a 73% stake in Strategic Minerals Corporation.
2009 - Acquisition of Carbofer Metal and Vanadium Tula.
2014 - For the first time in Russia, 100-meter rails began to be produced.
2016 - Commercial coal production begins at the new Mezhegeyugol mine.
2017 - 25th anniversary of the company. Nakhodka seaport was sold this year. Evraz produced 14 million tons of steel in 2017.
2019 - Sale of Stratcor in the USA and Palini e Bertoli in Italy.

Approach to the environment
We strive to ensure that our operations are conducted in the most sustainable way possible and do our utmost to mitigate adverse environmental impacts caused by our day-to-day operations, in order to comply with environmental obligations and to meet the expectations of stakeholders.
One of the environmental protection projects is "Clean Air". The implementation of the project consists in carrying out large-scale measures to improve gas cleaning systems at Evraz factories.
