The supercomputer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) was used to identify 77 small-molecule compounds as potential SARS-CoV-2 drugs to fight COVID-19, which are likely to bind the novel coronavirus main spike protein which could prevent it from infecting cells.
