On October 11, 2016 Optimus Ride completed their seed funding round with $5.3 million in funding from NextView Ventures (lead investor), FirstMark (lead investor), UJ Ventures, Nvidia GPU Ventures, Morado Ventures, Haystack, Greycroft, and Joi Ito.
On November 2, 2017 Optimus Ride completed their series A funding round with $18 million in funding from Greycroft (lead investor), TheVentureCity, Neoteny, Fraser McCombs Capital, FirstMark, Emerson Collective, and Eight Rods Ventures. The company plans on using their series A funding to expand its vehicle fleet and hire new employees.
