Philip III of Spain

Philip III of Spain , also known as Philip the Pious , was born on April 14, 1578, in Madrid . He was a Spanish monarch and ruled as the King of Spain, as well as the King of Portugal, Naples, Sicily, and Sardinia. He also held the title of Duke of Milan . His reign lasted from 1598 until his death on March 31, 1621 , in Madrid .

Philip III was the son of Philip II of Spain and Anna of Austria, Queen of Spain . He had several children, including Anne of Austria , Philip IV of Spain , Maria Anna of Spain , Cardinal-Infante Ferdinand of Austria , and Infante Carlos of Spain .
