Sergey Kosenko is an entrepreneur who has a large social media following.
Kosenko was born on August 23, 1987, in Russia, although there are reports that he was born in Hungary. He reportedly attended both the Moscow Power Engineering Institute and Moscow State University, but it is unclear if he earned a degree from either institution.
Kosenko started a retail apparel business in 2014 and expanded it, but it is reported that there were supply chain issues, and many of his customers were left without products. He later began blogging and building a social media presence on Instagram and YouTube. Many of his YouTube videos focus on the topics of finance and entrepreneurship.
In 2020, he appeared on a Russian reality TV show called Island of Heroes, where he and other semi-famous people had to survive on an island with minimal supplies.
In 2022, Kosenko launched a non-fungible token (NFT) project, Amazy, with Artem Nikolaev. The project is described as a lifestyle app that claims to offer cryptocurrency rewards for physical activity.
The following year, Kosenko established a property firm, Habibi Real Estate, in Dubai. The company reportedly has a property investment portfolio valued at over $50 million.
Kosenko is often in the news for the outlandish stunts he performs on social media. For example, he held a large party in Bali in 2021 when there were social restrictions in place to mitigate the spread of the deadly COVID-19 virus. He was also conducting business while in Bali, which was a misuse of his visitor visa. Kosenko was deported from Indonesia and banned from re-entering for a minimum of six months.
In August 2021, Kosenko came under investigation by local authorities in Russia when he tied his girlfriend to the top of his car while she was handcuffed to him and drove around. The woman also had duct tape over her mouth, and Kosenko defended his actions by claiming it was part of a test of trust that the couple had already done many times before. He was fined approximately $10, and the incident sparked outrage online.
