Suman Pokhrel, born on September 21, 1967 in Mills Area, Biratnagar, is a renowned Nepali poet. He primarily writes in the Nepali language but also writes in English, Hindi, and some other South Asian languages. He has published several books of poetry, including "Shoonya Mutuko Dhadkanbhitra" (1999), "Hazaar Aankhaa Yee Aankhaa Maa" (2003), and "Jeevanko Chheubaata" (2009). His poetry has been translated into multiple languages and featured in prestigious journals and anthologies worldwide.
In addition to writing poetry, Pokhrel has engaged in various creative pursuits. He has written plays, such as Yajnaseni, based on the epic "The Mahabharata," and directed the series "Kavyaarohan" from 2019 to 2022.
