TriNet Zenefits

TriNet Zenefits is a software as a service (SaaS) company that provides employee management software for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It was founded as Zenefits in February 2013 by Laks Srini and Parker Conrad. Its launch was funded by Y Combinator. Zenefits was acquired by TriNet in February 2022. The company became a wholly owned subsidiary of TriNet, and its name was changed to TriNet Zenefits.

TriNet Zenefits provides a streamlined platform for businesses to manage human resources (HR), payroll, and benefits for their employees. The platform supports the completion of a comprehensive range of tasks including onboarding, performance reviews, paid time off (PTO) tracking, benefits management, and scheduling. Many of the platform's compliance tasks are automated to prevent errors and to ensure consistent compliance with government regulations.
