Everphone is an online phone-as-a-service platform that offers a smartphone, tablet, and laptop rental service to businesses. The platform offers device management and hardware advisory services, enabling corporate workers to rent mobile phones and tablets as well as access phone repair for broken phones and other refurbishing services. Everphone offers smartphones, tablets, and laptops from Apple, Samsung, Nokia, Google, and Motorola, as well as accessories such as headphones, covers, and keyboards. To date, Everphone has worked with over 1,000 companies.
There are two phone-as-a-service rental options available for Everphone's clients—Classic and CYOD (choose your own device). In the Classic option, the IT and purchasing departments of the client company determine which employees get which device, and Everphone takes care of everything else.
The CYOD option, on the other hand, allows employees to choose their own devices. In this model, the purchasing company provides a fixed budget per device, and if an employee wishes to buy a device beyond the set budget, they can pay the difference themselves via an employee co-payment. Employees can use these devices in a private and unrestricted manner.
MDM (mobile device management) software is a significant aspect of Everphone's platform, where it is used for data security and to separate professional and private user data on devices. If the client already has an MDM solution, Everphone has the ability to integrate it. If not, Everphone can provide clients with MDM software licenses from the company's technology partners.
Everphone can also provide companies a vending machine containing small technical accessories that are common useful items that employees may forget to bring to work or lose. Registered users interact with the vending machine via a personal QR code and collect the accessory they need, eliminating the need for help desk tickets. This allows IT departments to focus on more pressing tasks, while retaining control over all permissions and transactions. Everphone monitors the stock levels and refills the machine when supply drops, with products billed at the end of each month.
