On November 1, 2013 Front announced raising an undisclosed of seed funding from eFounders. The company participated in the eFounders startup program.
On September 30, 2014 Front announced raising $150,000 in their second seed funding round from Kima Ventures.

On January 24, 2018 Front announced raising $66 million in series B funding from Sequoia Capital (lead investor), Tribe Capital, Threshold, DFJ Growth, and Caffeinated Capital. The company plans on using their sereis B funding to accelerate its growth, improve its software product, and expand operations globally. At the time of announcing their series B funding Front had 52 employees, offices in San Francisco, California and Paris, France, and about 2,500 customers.
On January 22, 2020 Front announced raising $59 million in series C funding from Uncork Capital, Sequoia Capital, Initialized Capital, Terrence Rohan, Ryan Smith, Mike Cannon-Brookes, Jay Simons, Jared Smith, Frederic Kerrest, Eric Yuan. The co-founder and CEO of Front, Mathilde Collin, made the following statement regarding the company's series C funding round:
First, because we didn’t need to raise (we still had two years of runway), and it’s always better to raise when we don’t need it. The last few months have given me much more clarity into our go-to-market strategy.
