Modern Fertility is a company that develops an at-home pregnancy fertility test. Modern Fertility was established in 2017 by Afton Vechery and Carly Leahy. Modern Fertility aims to help women receive information about the current state of their fertility in a more affordable manner. The company’s headquarters is located in San Francisco, California.

Modern Fertility offers women both the testing kit and the platform that would give users the test results and advice on actions to take based on them. Women submit their blood samples using the testing kit and send them back to Modern Fertility. Within less than a week, they will receive their fertility report.

Since its founding year, Modern Fertility has received funding from two rounds, with a total capital of $7 million. Modern Fertility participated in the YC S17 cohort of Y Combinator. The company’s most recent funding efforts was a Seed Round held in May 2018, raising $6 million. Modern Fertility has received capital from 8 investors, with three among them as lead investors.
