ToolGen is a biotechnology company focused on developing genome editing technology. Products include purified gRNA/Cas9 reagents for genome engineering, genome-edited cell lines, genome-edited mouse and rat and genome-edited plant services. ToolGen offers surrogate reporter synthesis and in-del analysis services. ToolGen is developing genome editing tools such as ZFN (Zinc Finger Nuclease), TALEN (TAL effector nuclease) and CRISPR/Cas9.

In 2019 ToolGen merged with Genexine, an immunotherapy and gene vaccine company.
